At Les Schwab, we’ve been selling, installing, and maintaining car batteries for decades. Those batteries include the Les Schwab Battery Warranty (Limited Warranty), which covers free battery replacement for up to 36 months, depending on the battery you buy. It also comes with a free extended warranty period of up to 84 months (that’s seven years!), free charging system checks, and free battery charging anytime you need it. Free Battery Replacement Coverage

When you buy your battery at Les Schwab, you get more than just reliability with every start. You also get our free battery replacement coverage that guarantees your battery for anywhere from six months to three years, depending on the battery. That means if that battery fails our load test within that Free Replacement Period, we’ll replace it for free at any Les Schwab location.

Extended Warranty Coverage After Free Replacement Period

The Les Schwab Battery Warranty doesn’t stop with our Free Replacement Period. The free extended warranty coverage continues to power your everyday adventures for years. If the battery fails to start your vehicle during that period, you get a nice discount on a new Les Schwab battery. The cost for that new battery is calculated by pro-rating the months remaining in the Extended Warranty Period from the original purchase price. In other words, if you’re halfway through the total warranty period, you’ll pay less than what you paid for the battery when it was new.

Free Battery Charging and Charging System Checks

Batteries and charging systems can be complicated. When you buy your battery from us, you can stop by anytime for a free charging system check and charge-up. Those checks help evaluate the health of your battery and alternator. And if you need to get your battery recharged, just leave it overnight. We’ll make sure it gets fully charged, free of charge.

What the Battery Warranty Does Not Cover

At Les Schwab, we’re all about World Class Customer Service. And while our Battery Warranty is industry-leading, our warranty does not cover:

Battery failure due to vehicle mechanical or electrical problems
Batteries installed in vehicles used commercially
Batteries reinstalled in another vehicle

While there are limitations to our Battery Warranty, including liability for incidental or consequential damages, we’ll always do what we can to get you back on the road.
