Maintaining Inclusive Community Living Across Central Minnesota
Opportunity Matters – Sartell, MN
May 22, 2025
Opportunity Matters is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to reach their full potential. The organization offers a wide range of services, including community residential programs that provide safe, welcoming environments where individuals can live and engage with their communities. With 19 properties spread across St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids, Sartell, and St. Joseph, their team relies on vehicles to haul supplies, move furniture and equipment, perform landscaping, and plow snow – keeping each location safe, functional, and ready to support those they serve year-round.
When one of those essential vehicles needed new tires, Les Schwab's new Sartell store stepped in through our Tires for Purpose program. A full set of donated and installed tires helps ensure their truck can safely stay on the road and continue supporting the organization’s behind-the-scenes work.
“This truck is critical for us,” says Regan Stommes, CEO of Opportunity Matters. “They help us meet the daily needs across all of our properties. The new tires give us peace of mind that we can keep showing up for the people we serve.”
Thanks to the tire donation, Opportunity Matters can focus more resources on delivering programs and services, knowing their vehicle is road-ready.
Tires for Purpose is Les Schwab’s commitment to helping local nonprofits move their missions forward. Nonprofits making a difference in their communities are encouraged to apply for a tire donation at lesschwab.com/tiresforpurpose.
